GET CONNECTED! Most district communication and updates for families will occur via email and online platforms, and all student education will occur in this format. Xfinity has also provided many hotspots, free, and available to the public.
TECHNOLOGY/CHROMEBOOKS FOR STUDENTS:
Families with students in K-8 will be able to pick up/exchange Chromebooks at their DDSD school.

WHEN DO STUDENTS RETURN?

STUDENT DAILY SCHEDULE:
- Asynchronus: Students will have access to materials (i.e. posted videos, readings, lecture recordings, self-assessments, quizzes, discussion posts, etc.) to complete assignments at their own pace.
- CDLSynchronus (Live online teaching): Students will engage with teacher and peers during live online instruction as they have prior to Hybrid learning.
- Cohort: A group of students
On Mondays and Wednesdays, Cohort A students will be in school, 9AM-11:30AM, and then Asynchronus learning online 12:30PM-3PM. On Tuesdays & Thursdays, Cohort A students will do Asynchronus learning 9AM-11:30AM and then Live online teaching 12:30PM-3PM. On Friday’s ALL students will participate in live online teaching and no one will be in the building. Lunch will be everyday 11:30AM-12:30PM

MEALS DURING HYBRID LEARNING:
For students that are in the building, grab and go meals will be given to every student on their way home. Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner for 2 days will be provided. All students who are not in the building are welcome to pick up meals between 12PM-1PM. These may be picked up from Menlo Park and all other DDSD Schools, Monday- Friday
We typically charge a $20.00 supply fee for each of our students. We will not be charging parents during distance learning.
Supply kits for new students will be made available shortly after completing registration.
